Lindsay’s passion for dogs began during one of the most difficult times in her life. When her brother Matt was battling terminal cancer, the family welcomed a puppy at his request. That little dog brought light, comfort, and joy to a home filled with fear and heartbreak — helping the family heal, laugh again, and find strength in the midst of pain. Witnessing the profound impact a dog can have on a family inspired Lindsay to dedicate her life to understanding the human–dog bond.
She began working alongside positive-only trainers, studying dog behavior and psychology. Soon, she knew she wanted to dive deeper. Lindsay left her Art degree behind to attend a specialized board-and-train school in Riverside, California under Master Trainer Karen Duet, gaining months of hands-on experience with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments using a balanced training approach. She continues to expand her knowledge through seminars and continuing education, believing that learning is a lifelong journey and essential to delivering the highest level of training.
Lindsay also understands the challenges of raising a difficult dog firsthand. Her Boxer, Tyson, struggled with severe leash reactivity and fear-based aggression. Through balanced training, patience, and consistent leadership, she transformed him into a calm, confident, and happy companion. This experience shaped her philosophy: every dog is unique, and every training plan should be too. She focuses on creating lasting results through trust, clear communication, and structured guidance — teaching owners how to develop a strong, respectful, and balanced relationship with their dogs.
Since 2015, Lindsay has worked with hundreds of dogs and their owners, helping rescue dogs rehabilitate and find forever homes through organizations like Come Sit Stay K9, Second Chance Sato, and Bridge to Home Animal Rescue. Today, she offers personalized, private training in Eighty Four and the surrounding Pittsburgh area, helping owners achieve calm, confident dogs and reducing the number of dogs surrendered due to behavioral challenges.
Lindsay’s mission is simple: to educate owners, improve dog behavior, and create relationships built on trust, respect, and understanding — because a well-trained dog is more than obedient; they are a partner, a companion, and a source of joy in everyday life.
